It’s finally here. Signals 19 is happening this Wednesday through Friday, and we’ve put so much energy into creating a really special experience for marketers. If you’re in the midst of packing and getting ready for the event, take a moment to check out this list of things you should know about Signals 19 before you arrive.
What to pack
It’s the last few days of summer and the first few days of fall, so let’s just say it could be unpredictable weather-wise. It’s always a good idea to bring good shoes to walk in, rain gear for those unpredictable showers, and layers for the conference (we know those rooms can sometimes get a bit chilly). Other than that, we’d recommend packing business casual or whatever you’re comfortable in for listening, networking, and learning from the best.
Download the Signals 19 app
If you haven’t already, now’s the time to download the “Signals 19” app in the Google Play or Apple app store. Only registered attendees can access the Signals 19 app content, but once you have it, you’ll just need to sign in with your business email address. Once you’re in, you’ll have all the Signals 19 information including the agenda, list of speakers, an interactive map, and a live stream of activity all at your fingertips.
Grab your badge and make your way around
Once you’re at the Marriott Marquis, you’ll need to pick up your badge. Registration will be open throughout the event and you can grab your badge starting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Everything taking place at Signals 19 is happening in or around the Marriott Marquis. Most of the events will be on the fourth floor and will take place in the Festival Hall (breakout sessions, Solutions Experience Zone, and sponsor booths) or on the Mainstage (keynotes). Our Thursday evening party will be adjacent to the Marriott Marquis at the ABC Building. If you do need to travel anywhere outside the hotel, Chicago has a very robust public transportation system.
On to the two most important things — meals and battery power. We’ll host both breakfast and lunch on Thursday and Friday so that you can grab a bite while making sure not to miss any of the activity. And we’ll have charging stations scattered throughout the space to make sure that your phones, laptops, and other devices are always fully charged.
We’re partnering with Codeverse, a Chicago-based organization that has an ambitious goal — teaching a billion kids to code. Children ages 6-13 can join Codeverse at one of their studios across the city and learn important skills that will help them throughout their lives. You can help us help by stopping by the Codeverse pop-up next to the registration booth and contributing your review of Cheetah Digital to G2 Crowd on one of the iPads available. For every review we get, Cheetah Digital will contribute $100 towards Codeverse for programming.
